What Can Students Expect After Enrolling in Our Courses?
Courses received at Dental Specialties Institute Inc. are designed to help and motivate students to learn everything there is from a particular dental practice. Course curriculums differ according to specific course requirements, and can include:
- Classroom training. Students will be required to attend lectures, acquire theoretical knowledge, and pass a written test. Course clinical final exams are proctored by licensed dental professionals.
- Supervised clinical training. Students will gain hands-on-experience of a course practice in which they enroll. Besides the written exam, they will also be required to pass a clinical examination test.
Upon completing a course and passing all the required exams, students receive their certificates on the day of the course final. These certificates are approved by California dental institutions and allow successful candidates to apply for RDA licensure.
How It All Began?
The Dental Specialties Institute Inc. was founded by Suzie Dault in 2000. A Bay Area native, she graduated from the California State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree and Technical Studies with Dean honors. Suzie was also the class Vice President and had an active role in the Sacramento State student body. She received the Jose Business Hall of Fame award (7 times), Best of San Jose Award (6 times), and was voted the Best of Silicon Valley in the Educational Services by the San Jose Award Program.
As for her experience in the dental field, she spent more than 30 years as an OMSAA, RDAEF, and CDA. After retiring, she decided to dedicate her time and energy to her long-lasting passion for education. With Dental Specialties Institute Inc., she built and maintained the Institute where she continually runs one of the most comprehensive and quality dental certification programs.
Suzie Dault (CDA, RDAEF, OMSAA, BS) enjoys giving her students comprehensive training, but more importantly, she gives them the feeling of accomplishment they need for feeling secure and competent for performing delicate dental services.
